Frequently asked Questions

Why is PhiBrows Microblading the best?

PhiBrows techniques and tools are continually redesigned to be able to support trained artists in the very precise drawing of brow hairs and designing beautiful eyebrows with perfect symmetry, shaped so that they look natural and proportionately match your facial features. We use certified tools to ensure the highest quality eyebrow results for clients.

Do I need to have previous experience?

Experience and knowledge in the field of cosmetics and cosmetic treatments is not necessary to begin your journey and start your career at PhiAcademy. Every student must start from the very beginning - regardless of whether they are a doctor, lawyer, graphic designer, beautician or is are still looking for their perfect career.

Should I have my own salon?

Artists are free to choose whether to collaborate with other salons or to open their own. The value of the Phi brand guarantees clients wherever they want to work. It is important to note that each country has its own regulations regarding the opening of a salon, so it is important to thoroughly research the requirements.

What do I get by enrolling in a microblading course?

First and foremost, you gain knowledge and develop skills that can be built upon and improved to build a very successful and profitable business. When you complete the course, you will receive an internationally recognized certificate, thus becoming part of the large PhiAcademy community. You get an experience that you will be happy to share with others by crafting beauty, that comes with the opportunity to open your own salon and become self-employed and independent. Of course, you will also make new friends and gain the continuous support of PhiAcademy in your future career.

What is the price of education in the field of microblading?

The cost of treatment varies from country to country. The cheapest treatment is around 200€, and the most expensive can be 1,000€. PhiMasters often advise their students to remain loyal to the high quality of their services and supplies, so the price of services can be generally higher. The price determines the type of clients advertised treatments will.

Do I have support even after completing the training?

Yes, the training continues for a period of 2, 4 or 6 months (depending on the chosen educational package) after the course ends, so you can master your microblading skills. PhiAcademy provides daily support and homework via the CraftMaster app to help you solidify and further improve your microblading skills.

How long does it take to take the course and get the PhiAcademy Artist certificate?

The average time to pass all levels on the online platform depends solely on you and your commitment as a student. It is up to you to schedule your learning time. So, training can last a month, or two or three months, or even longer. This means that students who work hard can pass the course in a shorter time, have more time for practice and can complete the course in less than 6 months. CraftMaster application is a great platform for online learning and working through different course levels. It is also a basic tool for communication between PhiAcademy Masters and their student Artists.

What do the course levels look like?

There are 11 levels to pass the course, including drawing shapes (eyebrow spines) on paper, followed by 5 levels of partial practice on latex. One level includes assessing the condition of the skin, and drawing the proportional eyebrow shape on a model, followed by applying a few strokes on the model. Level 10 involves the student to demonstrate their microblading technique on at least 5 clients. The final level includes a questionnaire on the theoretical aspect of microblading training.

What are the most common mistakes students make when working with the microblading technique?

One of the biggest mistakes students make is that they fail to adjust their choice of model to match their skill level during training. What does that mean? Every student should choose a model with enough natural eyebrow hair to practice on drawing only a few hairs/strokes in the beginning. This allows students to gradually develop their skills and build confidence. The biggest mistake is to choose a client without any eyebrows at the beginning, as the student is likely to make considerably more mistakes. This could damage the student’s confidence going forward in developing their skills. This can unfortunately lead to students dropping out of the course. Remember that practice and continuity are your best allies, that will help you show how far you can go. Practise is the key to opening the door to your future success, so don't be afraid to make mistakes in the early stages! Keep in mind that every PhiAcademy Master was once a student, and that their current experience and knowledge is the result of strong will, clear vision and determination.

How do I choose my Master?

PhiAcademy advice: Before you choose your Master, we advise you to have a browse of the work of several Masters in the CraftMaster application or on their social media networks. Feel free to contact several of them to be able to choose the Master that suits you the most. This can be based on their work, how they respond to you, and if you envisage positive chemistry. If you need extra practice, our Royal Artists can provide additional monitoring of practice and work on live models to improve skills and help speed up your progress.

What are the requirements for attending the course?

The only condition for attending the course is that you are over 18 years old. Since each country has different laws and regulations about who can perform treatments, we also provide you with support for obtaining a license for microblading and tattooing, after you sign up.

Are microblading skills difficult to master?

The time and effort students put into practice are special factors that determine how far they can go. If you are determined, you can become a PhiBrows Artist.

Is there a high demand for microblading?

There is a high demand for microblading and this trend continues. This can be a lucrative business because it is a specialized technique that requires training and certification. For a person with an entrepreneurial spirit, the microblading business has huge potential, because this technique, regardless of trends, is always popular because it gives completely natural eyebrow look.

Is microblading a safe treatment?

Although this is a type of permanent eyebrow filling, microblading eyebrows in general is considered a non-invasive treatment and is safe for most clients. Infections are not that common. However, they can occur if the tools used are not sterile or if the pigments become contaminated on their way to the skin. Infections can occur even a few days after the procedure, until the skin has fully healed. If you choose a certified Artist who works with sterile equipment and gives follow up care instructions after microblading treatment, the risk of infection is reduced significantly.
